Donn has been carving jade in New Zealand since the latter 1960′s

His jade working experience has been largely focussed on New Zealand nephrite.

Visits in 2008 to the Jade Cove Jade Festival, Big Sur, California attracted introductions to rare Big Sur nephrites.

Many possessing varying hues of blue which caught Donn’s attention……   Blue Jade !
